re: "tyranny of the minority"
For a while there, I was dismayed, by the surge in popularity for the War Party. But it's fading, and fast. The polls are now steadily moving my way. Still got a long way to go, but I like the trend. Support for continued occupation is, if current trends continue, going to be the minority position long before the next election.
Don't worry, when the Peace Party takes over, we won't reciprocate, by telling you to Love It Or Leave It. That's not our style. We'll leave you alone, and not even restrict your civil liberties, as long as you behave. "Behaving" means you have to act in a peaceful and respectful manner, to everyone. All 6 billion of your brothers and sisters. Including all the towelheads, athiests, and queers. |
