If the author wanted to inform, he would tell us the corresponding seasonal number (which is October 2002, not June 2003). The other issue is that the author is confusing restructuring, with layoff. Again, if there was a desire to inform, he would tell us what the level of Ch. Gr & Ch number to expect in a normal October. Even one where total employment is rising. I really hope the shorters are relying on this article and others of its ilk. If that is the case, I'll raise my nasdaq target closer to your tongue-in-cheek. Sarmad
