What the hell are you talking about.......for decades the UN has been our mouthpiece. Earn our trust? Where did you go to school? What planet have you been living on? The UN was a toothless tiger and totally ineffective over the past 12 years in enforcing a string of resolutions regarding Iraq. If it couldn't stand up to a two-bit ruthless dictator of a country the size of CA who committed genocide on his own people, what happens when there's a real problem? The UN has failed even to provide adequate security for its own people in Iraq. You don't abdicate important things like your national defense to an organization that doesn't have your best interests at heart, or the will to enforce its own resolutions.
