Clinton did not invade Iraq- and if Gore had invaded on the pretext of Wmd's that weren't there, using the UN language, which we would have no right to use, I would have said exactly the same thing about him. I did not like Gore- so I'm not sure why I care if he would have been a horses ass as well. It's not the mistaken assumptions I'm angry about- it's using them to justify a war the UN was against. That bugs me. It also bugs me that so many of the things Bush told the people weren't true. I didn't believe them from the beginning- but that doesn't make his performance any less disreputable.
