July, another record month for LNG imports. 61,281 MMcf up from 50,758 MMcf in June, a new record, representing 17.7% of the 346,137 MMcf imported in July. The 262,813 MMcf of LNG imported in only the first seven months of this year exceeds the total of 228,730 MMcf for all of 2002, the 238,128 MMcf for 2001 and the all time annual record of 252,600 MMcf set way back in 1979.
