Clark can take Arkansas, even as a Veep. Unless he's running with Dean. No southerner can help Dean. Kerry's strength is that, despite his northeast roots, he's a real war hero, hunter, Harley rider, pilot, etc. Those kind of things matter in the heartland. Just enough. John Edwards is also looking good, though the fact that he cant deliver North Carolina is a real problem.
