If terror were not being used, and the PA looked like it was actually interested in getting and running a state of its own, instead of a bunch of lawless mafias, then I certainly would favor something like the Taba deal.

If the PA was being run by civilized people, then the whole dispute would become a solvable border conflict. Just imagine, if the PA didn't display 1000 times the racial hatred that Israel is accused of displaying, we could be talking about the transfer of all existing Jewish settlements into PA territory, and all we would need to discuss is protection of minority rights, and abolition of inequalities in access to resources, water, roads, etc. Instead, the PA has always demanded that Palestine be delivered Judenrein and nobody even bats an eyelash.
