Look Pass Pass, Ascend DID make only .02 on way under 1/3 revenues for July. Companies DO NOT lie, exaggerate, understate, or whatever in 8K filing. Its not a filing they wanted to make that's for sure. Look at the 8K yourself, at Edgar. The issue is impact. It's perfectly possible this is only short term issue. It's gonna impact the quarter ... if they didn't think there was a strong likelyhood of that they never would have filed the 8K, extraordianry events filing... The trouble is the damage this may/probably does to credibility in analyst community. I don't KNOW exactly how much the impact, but to me it doesn't look good. Not complete lack of trust. But dark cloud... A view that unlike certainly CSCO, management provides less "Visibility". That's my take. If I had the balls, I would have shorted as soon as I read the 8k, but frankly, I've never shorted anything, except once or twice against the box for tax reasons...
