I suspect you are in a bit over your head there Pilchdown... First you publish glucose with it's generic stoichiometric formula rather than the conventional chemical formula which tells one the structure. Reacting glucose (a hydrocarbon) with O2 will indeed yield CO2 and H20. Then in your next post you show oxidized glucose yielding ATP and were kind enough to provide its definition. But what is not explained is where ATP gets its' nitrogen and phosphorus in addition to the elements in the precursor glucose.
