Perhaps we should contemplate this philosophical question: was the Arab sympathy for Hitler, and open use of anti-semitic cliches, coupled with the stated determination to drive the Jews into the sea in a second Holocaust, too much or too little to generate Jewish distrust and aversion to Arabs?

Don't see it as a philosophical question but a factual one, though I have no clue as to the answer and I doubt anyone can give an accurate yes/no answer as the issue is fairly complex. Arab anti-Semitism existed long before the Holocaust and Arab support of Hitler and is of course documented in the Koran. I think, naturally, that the points you make contributed substantially to Jewish aversion towards Arabs in general, though they have been allowed to live in Israel since the state was created so....who knows? Neither side has cared much for the other for a long, long time.

The question is too difficult to answer.

But I think it should be put more broadly: Shouldn't the world--not just Jews--despise those who murder their own children?
