Scott,

It looks like Clark is hitting his stride. Most of what he's saying in the article you posted, and at the "Rock the Vote" session is certainly appealing.

I find myself agreeing with the Ph.D. student that the reporter interviewed. Dennis Kucinich is the person closest to my views about how to run this country. But he's simply not going to be elected. Eventually, I'll come around to endorsing whoever has the best chance of defeating Bush. Even if it means willfully blinding myself to the closet Republican posturing that Clark has engaged in for the past couple of years. <vbg>

On another note, I loved the way that Howard Dean responded to his critics today regarding the silly little flap over Dean's message of inclusiveness. As someone who has chastised the driver of a pick up with a Confederate flag displayed on it, I can relate to Dean's empathy for these rednecks. They need the Democratic Party a whole lot more than they need another GOP handout to the super-rich. I thought Dean's "I regret" wording was perfect. I'm free to interpret it as a putdown of all the thin-skinned political correctness crowd, and the PeeCee crowd can interpret it as an apology (of sorts).
