Here's an excerpt (p. 3):

If the 2004 election were held today, who would you vote for if the candidates were:

George Bush 48%
John Kerry 42%
Unsure 10%


If the candidate is Gephardt the margin changes to 48-43; Dean loses 49-41, Lieberman 52-41, and most interesting of all, Clark loses to Bush in the new poll 55-36.

Kerry came in fourth among Democrats to support in the primaries at 9% (behind Dean, Lieberman, and Gephardt)

But what was most interesting is this: 53 percent of those polled approve of Bush's job performance overall. 5 percent are unsure about it. And only 42 percent disapprove. Yet the same poll claims that 44 percent -- more than the total number who disapprove of Bush generally -- are definitely going to vote against him. Seems like a bit of a disconnect to me.

I encourage anyone to read the whole six pages, not rely on American Spirit's sound bite and misinformation:
