One need look no further than Reagan's letter to America nine years ago to understand what the man is made of. It is pretty sleezy for the liberals to attack this great man. Other than the Yellow Dog Democrats, practically every person in the nation acknowledges the greatness of Reagan -- as a president, and as man of absolute integrity. I know what I say won't matter to you but the notion that historians might consider him great would really surprise me. Near term "historians" are liberal college professors (the Howard Zinn types). We know what they think. But long-term, history is pretty good at establishing who was great and who wasn't. Reagan's place in THAT history is pretty well cemented at this point and there is little the revisionists can do about it.
