It's a little annoying that so many people (mostly non-Southerners) equate the Confederate flag with racism. The good ole boys who have flag decals on their pickup trucks are not ill-intended, most of them have been living alongside and working with blacks all their lives, and they get along just fine. The other morning on C-Span, this was the topic of their call-in. There were a lot of black Democrat callers who said the flag didn't bother them at all. White northern liberals seem to be the ones who get the most exercised by it...
