Using different analytical methods very different statistical results were computed. This is what makes me uncomfortable about statistics. The FDA statisticians almost always manage to analyze the same data much more negatively than the sponsor. The whole thing is still something of a black art, which makes the fetish about .05 all the more ridiculous - .049 you have a drug and .05 you have a rejection. Peter
