that's well said. I don't think Clinton, or Gore, would
have approved a long-term invasion and occupation of Iraq.
If either had been President, and we did invade, I'm sure
it would have been part of a UN intervention, with many
more countries involved.

That would have been a totally different animal than we are seeing now, as you said.
