If that red-ink problem is not brought under control by the time Baby Boomers start retiring, it could have ''notable, destabilizing effects'' on future growth prospects, he said. Exactly what I have been saying but Bush is not paying atention to the deficit. They keep referring to the debt as "manageable" which it is not. Interest rates are rising this morning.
