China's growing economic presence center stage at conference

The U.S. and China were challenged Wednesday to keep talking and working on solutions to the wide range of issues that divide the two countries.

That was the main point of agreement that emerged from discussions by two elder statesmen from the United States and China who spoke in College Station at the conference on U.S.-China relations sponsored by the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation, Texas A&M University and the Chinese People’s Association for Foreign Countries.
