I got invited over to a moderated political thread which I thought was balanced but really was more of a RWE thread and a bunch of the members started sending PMs about me (I found out because one of them sent one to me accidentally) and every other post was telling me how WRONG (always caps) I was about something or other, when it turns out more than not they were the ones that were WRONG... and those are the same folks who appear to be cohabitating on the AS thread.

BTW an interesting thing I discovered there was that corporate taxes in california are at 1994 levels (below that actually). Companies like Intel who complain and complain bitterly about taxes actually pay very little and California's tax structure also gave intel an incredible real estate investment bonanza, to boot. The whole system of corporate taxes at least in CA rests on the assumption that employees would pay most of the taxes but this time around Barratt decided not to hire anybody in the US, and thus give California taxpayers the royal screw. With friends like some of these companies, who needs enemies. I think California should call their bluff and say adios. The worst one is oracle, they should just move away.

Apparently this pov really annoys the wingers.
