Well, let's just say that women applicants are in many cases handled somewhat differently from male applicants.

There is a strong contingent in the law school working to increase female enrollment -- or at least there was when I was there, and the same contingent is still there, so I expect they're still doing the same thing. they would call up, counsel, assist female student who inquired about applying, help them through the process, etc. There was no contingent or lobby supporting male applicants.
