France was a very good friend to America when it introduced the resolution into the United Nations to create a worldwide fight against terrorism. That Bush bullied for war shouldn't be blamed on the French. The, according to today's news (see below link), this Iraq war could have completely been avoided. Fret not, eventually even the GOPwinger side will come to the conclusion that Americans dying in that hellhole ain't worth and that the whole venture was war politics on the part of the Administration. Indeed, the policy kept control of Congress and I think they thought they could steer (manipulate) the public into giving Bush a second term. So little this administration values the blood of its own. nytimes.com
