Welch - are you kidding - didn't you hear? He had the outrageously bizarre expenses and some other issues. Welch did absolutely nothing that was inappropriate. The guy was inarguably responsible for the huge success of GE during the period he was at the controls. He lived no more extravagantly than, for example, Barbra Streisand or Stephen Spielburg.
