Mish, Charts, of course, are nonsense. But fun nonsense. Supply and demand. Many more demands coming up, especially from the rapidly growing life sciences area. And, as foreigners get sick of holding the Clownbuck, they look for something more solid. Silver has been considered money forever. Remember, that's what Judas received for betraying Jesus.

We have had a 22 year bear market. The stuff got up to unsustainable levels of $54 an ounce and fell to what I calculate to be equilibrium, in the $8-11 range. Lately, so many silver bulls have been burned that they don't even want to hear about supply and demand. But the main thing is, when somebody says, "is there anything out there that is still cheap?" Silver is one of the few answers.
