Yes, what's inconsistent about that? Can you comprehend that many Americans who didn't believe in that war, nonetheless served their country well and THEN protested the policy that required their service? I hope you get used to that idea because I have a feeling that over the next few years you may see it happening frequently.
By the way, when the veterans of this war with missing arms, legs, balls, eyes, etc, and the war heroes that served valiantly and were singled out for the Army's third highest award for valor, in the future express political views that differ from yours, are you going to demean their patriotism, bravery and intellect like you and Johannes Pilch have done to men like Kerry or Clark?
