Jim. Yes, saw that one. That's extraordinary and IMHO very significant coming from Templeton. One of the other brokers in the W.S. firm I worked for in the 70s and early 80s was a long time friend of Sir John, and handled a lot of the trades he did in individual US stocks. Unfortunately I never had the honor of meeting Templeton but heard many stories about what a great man he really is. This country is in a lot of trouble when people like Templeton release public statements such as those. It means the big big money is starting to bolt. IMHO, it will be a miracle if the CBs can circle the wagons and hold on till the election next November. I think the odds they will succeed are slim and none. The only thing that would give them a chance of pulling it off would be to have a major correction now. We shall see. I've got to log off for the weekend. Taking Mrs Patch to see Matrix Revolutions and I'd better nail down some tickets in advance as they are selling out one show after another. What a franchise?! FWIW, still like the 1st Matrix flick the best. Hope the new one is as good or better. Cya Monday. All the best, Isopatch
