Former prisoner of war Jessica Lynch accused the military of using her capture and dramatic nighttime rescue to sway public support for the war in Iraq

Now do you honestly think this is a direct quote from Jessica or is the AP writer using her position to take liberties with the truth?

There are so many out of context statements coming from the media lately that I really don't believe most of them unless I hear it from the person's mouth. It is a fact of life and the real problem with these kinds of tactics......they make sceptics out of us.

It will be interesting to hear why Jessica thinks it was "wrong" for the military to document her rescue, and I really wouldn't be surprised if the article took that statement out of context also. The Iraqi Attorney who reported her position in the hospital to coalition forces recently spent a day in Palestine W. Va. to receive awards and thanks from the towns people. For some reason, Jessica refused to see him.

Do let us know if you manage to see the interview.
