If I may make mention of one other point that is in one of those unsexy but fairly profitable areas. According to the press releases on their web site QCOM is about to begin shipping of their FOURTH generation of MSM chip (the chip that does all of the digital processing). While some companies have not yet gotten their first generation to market, Qualcomm has the experience gained from going through 3 previous generations of the chip that makes everything work. That can mean only that they are learning quickly. If other companies don't get off their buns then they WILL be left in the dust. Just as a side note it is too bad that we had to heckle Tero so bad that he quit posting. I think that he provided a good counter point to the rose colored glasses that I looked through at this company (even if he was wrong).
