(CHJ-V) 475 Howe Street, Vancouver, BC V6C 2B3 Tel: (604) 682-1643 Fax: (604) 682-1666 Toll-Free: 1-800-419-0730 NEWS RELEASE August 11, 1997 The companies have staked an additional 94 claims contiguous to the KET and the BALL claims located in the Finlayson Lake region of the Yukon Territory which Arcturus Resources Ltd. and Consolidated Shoshoni Gold Inc. are exploring on a 50/50 joint venture basis. The new claims were staked due to favourable results received from initial exploration, including an airborne geophysical survey, prospecting and reconnaissance geochemical sampling on a regional basis by the Government. Details of further exploration results will be reported as they become available. The Finlayson Lake region of the Yukon Territory is the focus of significant exploration activity for volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) hosted poly-metallic deposits. Companies active in the area include Cominco (Kudz za Kayah Deposit), Westmin/Atna Resources (Wolverine Deposit), Expatriate Resources (Ice Showing) and Columbia Gold (Fyre Lake Deposit). The KET and BALL claims are centered approximately 18km north-west of the Fyre Lake Deposit and approximately 20km south-west of the Kudz za Kayah Deposit. ARCTURUS RESOURCES LTD.
