I saw a laggard in our portfolio V.CHV (China Ventures) and did a rough and dirty review of it looking for an opportunity. 128,000,000 million shares. Years high .27, years low .01 They seem to pump out a lot of paper. Last Q I see is Mar 31/03 and a loss of $ 300,000 or .002/share That would mean if they made a profit of one million $ it would be less than 1 cent a share. Ahhh what the hell...lets give em a theoretical profit of 1.28 million dollars or 1 cent a share. How's about 20 times earnings?? That suggests a share price of .20 cents. They closed at .15 Fri. What are their prospects to surprise? They've been their since 1977 I understand and..... well...here's their last year of News releases.....you judge. wwwa.stockwatch.com Personally and IMO I'll sit it out until big news or volume on increasing prices floods in.
