Every study conducted isn't available on the Internet. To suggest that a study doesn't exist simply because you can't find it, or isn't available online epitomizes your naivety. If you want to know what safety studies Matrixx has conducted or are required to conduct, perhaps you should call the company. That is if you are really searching for the answer instead of spreading negative innuendoes on a financial message board.

<"Furthermore, the inventor has on various occasions tested a zinc gluconate spray intranasaly [sic], and it was not found to be effective in cold treatment.">

The zinc gluconate nasal spray tested had a lower viscosity than Zicam Cold Remedy nasal gel. All products aren't created equal even though they might have some of the same ingredients. The gel is thick enough to ensure that the zinc remains in contact with the nasal mucosa long enough to be effective, but not so thick that it doesn't spread properly. Here's an analogy. Two tires are both made of the same materials (rubber et. al). One tire has a proprietary tread pattern that has been proven to enable a vehicle to stop 10 seconds faster than the other tire on a wet road. To the casual observer, the tires look the same. To someone who looks a little deeper, they would see material differences in the design that explain why the tires don't perform the same. Just curious, do you think that Quigley's new nasal spray works? Why aren't you on their stock message board bashing away? Is there some reason that you prefer to bash Matrixx over Quigley? Why is that, Floyd?

<Mr. Eby stated to the examiner that his early experiments in the area had included use of a "zinc gluconate nasal spray solution[]" and that these had resulted in "extreme nasal pain." George Andrew Eby III Declaration dated December 13, 1988 at 5."

Have you ever gone swimming and accidentally breathed some water up your nose? Did it cause extreme nasal pain? Other than the risk of drowning, did it harm you in any way?

Have a nice rest of the weekend, Floyd. I am going to be much too busy today to engage in a worthless conversation with you.
