Re: "Democracy is not for the timid or the weak."

What's this little lecture about? Seems logical to conclude you are saying Iraqi's are timid and weak, and so shouldn't have Democracy. At any rate, no, you didn't suprise me Liberal guy.

Surprise? Are you sure you're not mixing up my post with someone else's?

Re: "its you who wants to see the view of the ME thru US tinted glasses"

Yes, this is still consistent with my conclusion that you don't feel the Iraqi's could use and would like Democracy(part of why I felt you were slow, in the first place). You DO want individual Iraqi's do decide, don't you?

Israel has had a democracy for over 50 years. Why hasn't it spread to other ME countries? Do you ever think beyond what Bush tells you?

Re: "The Iraqi people are spitting on our generosity."

Some. It seems to take outside insurgents to make the point you take so well, however.

You don't think its just outside insurgents that are playing with us? We know the Ba'thists are against and now some Shia. We stay long enough and the Kurds will turn on us as well.

Re: "Where are all these freedom loving people?"

Yup, consistent, blind, and non-responsive.

Is it that I am blind and non responsive, or you can't answer my questions? I believe its the latter.
