In private, Bushies are not at all patient on Iraq. They're in a terrible quagmire which could cost them their power. They desperately want a way out but they screwed all our allies so no one wants to help them. As soon as Bush is gone, all the allies will rush to our aid.

PS: I still like Kerry the best but this Gore thing is starting to make more and more sense. Can you imagine him getting up and asking "Are you better off than you were 4-5 years ago?" NO!! Except for Bush cronies.
