I listened with grim amusement today to a BBC interview of Prince Turki al-Faisal, the Saudi ambassador to Britain. The BBC announcer still (o so carefully) avoided calling the perpetrators of yesterday's blast anything but militants, but mirabile dictu, Prince Turki suddenly had no problem calling them terrorists. I guess the rule is, he who blows up my guys, that's a terrorist. I don't think al Qaida will be terrorists to the BBC until they blow up Big Ben or the BBC HQ.
