You are not allowed to even have a computer on during take off and landing, and to my knowledge no airline has yet to provide in flight internet, but I think it will be available for a fee very soon.

Many of the larger airports have booths where you can plug in a laptop for a fee and get internet access, and many now have wireless available so we're getting there.
