Or is this too much to ask?>>> As I understand it, Amati will do its own VDSL as a back-up to the NEC version, the same as it's doing now with an updated LSI chip. NEC's VDSL due out first of year, I believe. As for the C6X, isn't the commercial chip due October 9? Amati has it in beta now. I'm quite sure Siemens and GTE and BCTEL are all counting on the Oct 9 date. Well, nothing's definite with GTE, so I'm speculating there. At any rate, it's good to get this discussion back on track. Thanks! Pat
