I have never spent the time to truly count though I do try and keep a feel for a deck as far as face cards left. I have a friend who was in casino surveillance. Of course they are always looking for counters. I asked how quick they give counters the boot and he surprised me by saying a very small percentage of them. The reason was is only a very small percentage of counters do it perfectly and making little mistakes in your betting strategy or count actually makes a less then perfect counter better for the house then a perfect basic strategy player. Besides counting is too much like work for me:)

I may be wrong but I have always felt the game goes in flows and if it is flowing my way I try to bet like a drunken sailor on leave. If I feel it isn't going my way I try and force myself to leave the table and try again later. Years back I sat and played basic strategy and would fool myself into believing that a hot dealer has to cool down eventually. You know what, they don't. At least not while I still have the money to sit and take it rectally. I start losing on 19 and pushing or losing 20 while the dealer is getting 5 card 21's and I need to be wise enough to get the hell away.

I need to get my life to slow down a bit and get back to LV. It's been a year and I can't remember the last time I was only once in a year. I'm shaking man! Besides I want to get to the Dust before they implode it.
