They learned a lot of lessons in the 90s in CA and elsewhere. Unfortunately those of us who did work for them paid part of the price.

Did you check out the prices of the homes in areas other than CA, though? Some of those are base prices and with the options will be higher but they are a far cry from million dollar homes everyone seems to think have become the norm. I've noticed they've also been advertising free options in some of their communities so they must be seeing some softening already.
