Nope, senators ought to do their homework! Heck, even a few radio talk show hosts had the material to ask question "Why attack Iraq when it is so powerless?" But Kerry didn't?! Give me a break! Looks like "moderate" is a euphemism for "fell at Bush's feet when things got tough" ;-) Kerry, Gephardt, Lieberman, Edwards are all "moderates". (Add Daschle to the list -- thank goodness he is not running!) As for Dean, I don't readily have any statements from him prior to the start of the war. But if he did oppose it before March of this year, I will give him all credit, without wondering what he would have done if he had been a senator.
