Condor, what you really need is a sunshine boy, like Jay<g>. I will be the last one to consult on investing.

Having said that, I think it is no brainer to buy gold and natural resources. For investors outside China, the opportunity is rather limited now except those couple of dozen companies listed on US market, but the risk, comparing to the US stock market, is also relatively lower. The reason for this is that most of Chinese companies, up till now, are still state-owned enterprises. So one would not see a company like MCI, Enron..., the stock price could be decline dramatically. This would change when China's financial market further opens up.
