Tularik, Maker of Cancer Treatments, Raises $71.4 Million 2003-11-10 18:56 (New York) Tularik, Maker of Cancer Treatments, Raises $71.4 Million Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Tularik Inc., a drug company that develops cancer treatments and methods to combat diabetes, raised $71.4 million in a share sale. San Francisco-based Tularik sold 6 million shares at $11.90 each, a 0.9 percent discount to the stock's closing price of $12.01 today. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. managed the sale and shared fees of as much as $4.3 million. In a statement distributed by Business Wire on November 4, Tularik didn't say what the proceeds would be used for. Company spokeswoman Traci McCarty didn't return a call for comment.
