The democrats do not have a fighting chance of getting their guy elected unless it is Lieberman. Maybe so...not the point however. The question is not relative to a democratic candidate. I think Americans have gotten the message that this man deceived the nation and mishandled the diplomatic effort quite badly to boot. I think many of them don't trust his intellectual independence....if not his intellect altogether. Your point may speak to their confidence that there is a better choice, and reflects your bias by the way. I happen to think that Lieberman is among the least likely to beat bush. You conveniently ignored the rest of my post incidentally...I guess I can understand that. Al
