I have no objection to having men like Boykin in the military, though I wonder how those of his soldiers who do not share his views feel about it. I would also say that, as with any senior official at any time, he should keep his personal views private if the public expression of those views would - or even could - adversely affect the mission.

If people like that ever take charge of the country, the world is in deep shit.
