Donno about today's drop, but the only thing that kept that market alive was the big exporters- cars and electronics. The whole financial sector is still in shambles, seven years after.
Maybe fears that yen will strengthen more dipped the exporters too.

BTW i'm going over Dow 30 charts, can add ALD and AA to growing list of downtrends. T and CAT keeping their up trend today. Is there some kind of magical connection between high PEs and breaking up trend, and low PE and keeping up trend? is this a kind of voodoo or are investors starting to look at PEs? This might explain Dell's behavior today.
