DR,

re: Sort of a case of "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't". He gets rid of Al Qaeda, and you're pissed because the remnants are harder to track. Had he not gotten rid of Al Qaeda, you'd be bitching about this huge terrorist organization that hasn't been touched.

It isn't the "get rid" of Al Qaeda part that is causing the problem. The Iraq invasion / occupation is the recruiting poster for terrorists, Al Qaeda or whatever other brand name. All around the world. I guess if you want to have a "war on terrorism", you have to create an enemy, and that's one thing that Bush seems to be very good at, creating enemies.

A simple and telling question: Do you think there are more or less "terrorists" in the world today than there were a year ago? Despite the $Billions spent and the lives lost, what's the RESULT of the Bush policy? A safer or more dangerous world?

John
