I read 12 billion per company, however I doubt very seriously that
the total market will be divided among the fifty. Also this list is growing daily. Will probably be one hundred and fifty by this time next year. A great percentage of the work will be done in house . I believe the companies who have established a good client base will be among the top contenders.
I doubt very seriously that most of the y2k tool makers or consultants
could exploit as much as 12 billion ea. For one thing, the biggest bucks will be going to programmers as this is a programmer intensive project.
Most of the y2k companies will not be able to lay their hands on
enough programmers to draw in this type of money. However,
my opinion is that there will be more than enough to go around to
anyone who has the capitol invested.
