To all : Checked out the warrants listed with a star on the post #8. I used GALT TECHNOLOGIES for easy references on each underlying stats/ forward looking info. IMHO BARRW seems like the most promising. The underlying is Barringer a high-tech explosives detection security hardware manufaturer with good earnings potential worlwide ( USE THE UNITS IN AIRPORTS AND OTHER HIGH-RISK AREAS) BARRW closed at 1 11/16 on 39200 . *********See below. ************ *** Barringer Technologies Announces Second Quarter Results - Record Revenues and Net Income Achieved in the Quarter and Six Months - Thursday, August 07, 1997 05:34 PM ET MURRAY HILL, N.J. -- Barringer Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: BARR, BARRW), a leading developer, manufacturer, and marketer of drugs and explosives detection equipment, today announced its results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 1997. For the quarter, revenues increased by 119% to $5.8 million, compared with $2.7 million in the second quarter of 1996. Revenues in the recent quarter were favorably impacted by shipments of large orders to the Federal Aviation Administration, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Kuala Lumpur Airport in Malaysia. Net income increased by 277% to $1.4 million, compared with $375,000 in the year-ago period. Earnings per fully diluted common share for the quarter were $0.22 versus $0.10 in the comparable 1996 period, on a 83.9% increase in shares outstanding due to the Company's November 1996 secondary offering. For the six months ended June 30, 1997, revenues increased by 88.3% to $9.4 million, compared with $5.0 million in the 1996 period. Net income increased by 301% to $2.3 million for the six months, compared with $564,000 in the year-ago period. Earnings per fully diluted common share for the six months rose to $0.35 versus $0.15 in the comparable period in 1996, on a 65.7% increase in shares outstanding. Headquartered in Murray Hill, New Jersey, Barringer Technologies Inc. is principally engaged in developing, manufacturing, and marketing of high technology products for drugs and explosives detection and other security and industrial applications.
