Those get you fired, really? I remember Blodget on the upside (we all remember him) and Holly Becker on the downside of the internet stocks making these way out calls which in both cases proved to be true. It seemed like those two were stars- for a while- but they didn't know where to quit.

As far as this climate, I'm fed up with analysts like never before. That prudential guy raising his price target from 11 to 17 but keeping underweight... too much really.

I think you can get better advice on SI vs analysts. Dan Niles appears to be good though, I have to say he is worth a read.
