So far the only replacements for the departing Kerry staffers have been from Senator Kennedy's staff. Kerry and Kennedy have voted the same way somewhere around 90 percent of the time in the Senate. Both are from Massachusetts. Both names start with a K and end with a Y. Both opposed the first Gulf War even while Saddam's troops were raping and pillaging Kuwait. Both have a history of voting against defense programs quite often and voting in favor of social programs quite often, even though real defense spending has declined in the past 25 years while real social spending by the government has exploded upwards. Both have really odd looking hair. Both have killed someone, though in Kerry's case it was reportedly an act of heroism while in Kennedy's case he just killed her. Think we ought to ask for DNA samples to see if they're related?
