No excuses By Walter Williams I was aware of those statistics. There is another statistic that they don't mention. The school performance of white boys is falling behind that of white girls. The boys are much less prepared to go on to college than white girls. Boys have always lagged girls to some degree but the gap has become much bigger in the last ten years. They are not sure why that is. ted
