It remains to be seen if Kerry can even finish ahead of Clark, or if anyone can. The overwhelming favorite is still undecided. The lefty wing generally prefers Dean, but they are outnumbered by a so-far un-unified centrist wing. After the first two major candidates drop out we'll get a clearer picture. Kerry first needs to at least run very close to Dean in New Hampshire and Iowa. You can bet Clark will win SC with Edwards a close second. If all that happens, then Lieberman and Edwards will probably drop out. We could have a very close four-man race after that. Or not.

Getting too far ahead of myself. Who knows at this point?
Clark must realize he's probably going to be the VP pick unless he wins it all. The odds of him winning it all are not good as he won't be the DLC and DNC's first "anyone but Dean" pick.
